Materials needed :
- scissors
- glue
- paper squares size 12 x 12 cm in different colours
- black paper
- any colour A4 paper
Let's get to work:
- Let the children choose 3 different colours and fold
3 kites. See the "how to" page about folding for instructions on folding
kites.
- Cut out a handle.
- Take a sheet of A4 paper and paste the 3 kites next
to each other, glue the handle.
- As an option you could let the children make
raindrops.

- brown, black and white paper

Let's get to work:
- Take 1 square paper size 10 x 10 and 1 square paper
size 8 x 8 and fold 16 squares of both sheets. See the
how to page for instructions.
- Fold all 4 corners, on both sheets of paper.
- Cut 8 long strips and fold them.
- Glue the head and body together.
- Connect all the legs to the head and make them
stand up. You'll only have to use glue on either ends of
the strip.
- Cut a cross, eyes and pupils and your spider is
finished!

Let's get to work:
- Take all 5 sheets and use them to fold kites. See
the "how to" page about folding for instructions.
- Cut out a stem from brown paper and glue it in the
middle of the paper.
- Take all the kites and glue them on the stem,
make sure you attach all kites to the same point on the
stem.

Let's get to work:
- Take sizes and one by one fold 16 squares. See the
how to page for instructions.
- Make incisions on both sides exactly in the middle.
- Fold 2 squares away on both sides or cut them off.
- Fold the edges inwards on the left and right.
- Repeat this with all sheets of paper.
- Cut dots from white paper for on the mushroom, the
biggest gets the most dots, from there on, one less each
time.
- Cut grass, and paste it on the A4 sheet, paste all
the mushrooms from big to small and paste the dots on
the mushrooms.

- We'll start with the white square paper by folding
it.
- Cut the paper in half exactly where you folded it.
- Now take the red square paper and fold it diagonally.
- Cut the paper in half again, exactly where you
folded it.
- Cut grass, and glue it on the A4 sheet.
- Glue the white paper on the A4 sheet
- Glue the hood on top of the white sheet
- Cut out dots for the hoods.
- You can give the children an assignment by telling
them to make one Mushroom smaller and giving it less
dots than the bigger one.

- Use both colours to fold 16 squares. See the "how to"

- Cut one row of four squares off, do this with both
colours.
- Now take the white piece of paper, you should have
12 squares left, and fold all 4 edges inwards.
- Take the red piece of paper (also with 12 squares
left), and fold the top 2 squares on the long side
inwards.
- Cut out some grass, and glue it on the sheet.
- Glue the white paper shaft on the sheet.
- Glue the cap on top of the white sheet.
- Cut out dots and put them on the cap of the
mushroom.

- Use several colours 8 x 8 cm paper and fold 16
squares. Fold the edges inwards. See the how to page for
instructions on folding 16 squares.
- Use 20 x 20 cm brown paper and also fold 16
squares.
- Make incisions on both sides between row 1 and 2.
- Fold the edges diagonally so you'll get triangles
and fold the other 3 squares on both sides inwards.
- Glue the trunk on the A4 sheet of paper and glue all
the 8 x 8 papers on the trunk.

- template of snail (see autumn download page)
- crayons or pencils
- wool
- any colour A4 paper
Let's get to work:
- Let the children colour the snail and cut out the
picture .
- Glue it on the sheet of paper.
- Cut a large string of wool, and first circle it
without using glue from the inside to the outside to
check if the string is long enough.
- If you have enough string, glue it to the paper as
shown on the example.

- circles size 0.6 mm in different colours

Let's get to work:
- Copy the template and hand them out to the children.
- Let them make a sequence around the edge of the leaf.
- You can also do this with a picture of a Mushroom
or any other object. For authenticity you can also only
use colours seen in autumn.
